To apply for your driver's license, you need:

  • 18 years and older
  • Be resident in Curacao for unleast 6 months
  • Proof of identity: Id

The Curacao theoretical test has 50 multiple choice point questions on Curacao traffic laws, signs, signals, and markings. There are three parts to the test:

  • 20 max points for general questions on road rules
  • 21 max points for general questions on priority rules
  • 09 max points for road signs.

The exam can be done in Spanish or English orally

If you are under 18 years of age (17), You can begin the classroom phase of a driver education with the theory lessons, in order to take the theorical test fast possible when you get the mayority age (18 years old).
